Orodha 1.0 is being released today! Sunday August 1, 2010, in the download area at http://www.orodha.com.

• Now designer friendly! Including dynamic body classes and hundreds of new id's and classes throughout the system.

• All new front end template is now 100% valid XHTML - the first valid XHTML in the programs history!

• Faster than ever before with included code to gzip, unset etags, and control cache for massive speed boosts (including a 65% compression improvement) - Scores an "A" in YSlow

• All new templates added including the super useful "pages_main.php"

• All template pages are now "php" and the default template uses includes for super easy site maintenance!

• Many javascript enhancements, including inline delete confirmations, drop down admin tools and more.

• All new maps feature with instant switch to street view - as standard!

• Default template is super SEO friendly out of the box

• Integrated drop down menus, which update dynamically with new classes via all new menu tags!

• Finally proper support for agents and favorites viewing.

• Confusing "user" templates renamed and adjusted for "agents"

• {isfavorite} support extended throughout all areas.

• All new install procedure, much more user friendly and includes server checks, and no need to configure before use.

• Default template to be tweaked and improved on a constant basis, especially with regards to search

This is just the beginning of Orodha. In our very next release we will be implementing Youtube for listings!  Each listing will have a template tag for a Youtube video to show off your listings. There will be many more upgrades to come.  Thank you for allowing Orodha to serve your listing needs.

Summary description
Dynamic body classes: Tags added {page_id} {page_action} {template_in_use} {user_name} {user_first_name} {account_type} {browser_type}

Update Patches: an auto updater from the admin screen has been created so just a few clicks and it copies the new files and makes any necessary changes to the db and config files.

Have install check server requirements: Installation script will check server requirements and make recommendations for users.

Default Template: Many improvements to templates for designers.

Delete Sample Data: Option for users to quickly and easily delete sample data from installation.

CKEditor: Added CKEditor as editor for Orodha. Used in the page editor and on text areas within the listing editor.

Jquery Google Maps: Implemented jquery google maps into the Orodha core. Includes street view on listing detail page and automatic geocoding if listing doesn't have latitude / longitude data already.

Open Realty(R) 2.5.8 Migration: relatively easy migration to Orodha 1.0.

Admin Template: All new admin area layout.

Template for user added pages: instead of page1_main, page2_main, etc. Orodha users will have a pages_main. The code looks for pageX_main and if it doesn't exist, uses pages_main, and if that doesn't exist, uses main.

Installation procedure, many upgrades:

Titles required for some pages: "My profile" and "View agents" pages now render a title.

Improved SEF for Agent, Pages, Listing: sef for agent, pages and listings. They now show as agent/ listing/ page/ when seo enabled in admin area.

New Tags

{class_view_menu} - produces unordered list of links to the search results for each class

{class_search_menu} - produces unordered list of links to the search pages for each class

{listing_details_map} - shows the google map with street view on the listing detail page

{search_results_map} - adds a map to the search results. Can also be used in content pages to show a map of the first page of listings that you would see on the view all listings page. The number it shows would be dependent on the number of listings per page setting.

{featured_listings_map} - shows a map of the featured listings

{add_del_favorites} - shows either the add or delete from favorites link depending on if user has listing in favorites

{add_del_favorites_url} - shows either the add or delete from favorites URL depending on if user has listing in favorites

{listing_images_colorbox} - adds slideshow that opens in a popup lightbox
